Viewing a check - Kikimora

Clicking any check title opens the Check Preview overlay. It gives you the security context, rationale, and remediation for that rule without navigating away from where you were. You can open it from an endpoint’s Policy Checks table, or from step 2 of the Create Custom Policy wizard.

What the overlay contains

Section	What it tells you
Description	The security concept, the baseline requirement, and the system behavior the check enforces.
Rationale	The underlying risk, potential exploit scenarios, and the compliance standard driving the recommendation.
Remediation	Step-by-step guidance, the Group Policy path, or the command-line syntax that brings a non-compliant system into line.
Rule	The automated evaluation script, configuration parameter, registry path, or command Wazuh SCA runs to audit the endpoint.

Open a check

Click a check title link in the checks table.
Read through the sections, then click Close or the X icon. You return to your exact place in the table, with filters and scroll position intact.
